Phantasy Star Online

February 26, 2008

This game arrived in the mail today, i got it for like 1.50 off ebay. I knew it wouldnt be very good seeing as all the MMO servers are offline, even if they where still active I cant connect my DC to the internet anyway! But there still single player mode which is really online … without everyone else.

I only played for a few minutes because I had to get to bed but from what I played I believe the online version would rock. The controls felt a tad clunky, hard to run and fight at the same time. I think itll be fun to play a bit more in the future

Dreamcast Games And A Controller?

February 22, 2008

Some new games (this shows Soul Caliber and Arcadia because I never photographed them to)hpim0910.jpg

I was wrong, about what? About skies of Arcadia. At first i didnt like it, but it grows on you. I have now played the first 10 hours 3 times, twice alone, and once kinda playing while my friend played it. And its addicting. A good story line, good magic, and weapons, and  a huge map! When I said dont expect to get a new favorite… Ya this is one of my all time favorite games :P

 And Now!

The main event. My awesomely sexy dreamcast arcade stick! Featuring all the face buttons, L and R, and the D-pad. In a well rounded package. It feels great, sturdy, and smooth.  The only bad thing is lack of the Joystick.

Skies Of Arcadia, Soul Caliber, And a Nes

February 2, 2008

Soul Caliber

This game is a classic to say the least. It basically revolutionized the 3D Fighting Genre

Not to mention it looked incredible on the dreamcast and even better on a VGA moniter. Its realistic physics combined with hundreds of special moves makes this a must have for any dreamcast fan.

Skies Of Arcadia

I had heard great things about this game, so I was almost disappointed when I played this. The random battles, bad camera angles, and lack of voice overs makes this game a chore more than entertainment. The battling is ok, but its a “press A, repeat to win” kind of game. I will say for what I paid it was worth it, but dont intend to get a new favorite game when you play this.

And the nes, Im sure we all know what these are.
